Install on Unraid
Prepare your server
Section titled “Prepare your server”- Check your GPU driver is loaded:
ls /dev/drishould show arenderD*device. - Allow about 20 GB for container images, plus space for games and saves.
- Use the Unraid host shell for commands; it runs as root, so omit
sudo.
For NVIDIA, complete NVIDIA setup on Unraid before deploying, including the driver compatibility check.
Storage paths
Section titled “Storage paths”The quick start defaults to /mnt/cache/appdata/quasar. Change cache if your
pool has another name. Saves, installed content and user files need persistent
storage with enough space; do not put them under /root.
A stack manager’s configuration directory is separate from game data. Keep it on persistent storage too; it does not need the same direct pool path merely because it holds a Compose file.
Quasar defaults game-file ownership to UID 99 / GID 100 on Unraid.
Install Quasar
Section titled “Install Quasar”Use the quick start and select Unraid. It supplies the platform’s paths and ownership defaults, then follows the normal Docker seed deployment. Review the generated configuration before starting it. Docker Compose, Dockge or Arcane can keep that configuration.
Open https://<your-host>:8443, follow the
